Special Olympics Track Event

We survived our first Special Olympics track event! The event was smaller than I expected but my students and the group of peers were amazing! I was sad to hear that most of the peers that joined us were seniors this year. I also found it quite interesting that many of the other schools were not cheering for all of the athletes.  We made sure to encourage our athletes to cheer not only for their friends but for all the participants! Overall, it was a great day, and I'm very proud of how our students represented Mojave High School!
